    Spanish Grand Prix Preview
Having completed the initial Asian leg of the season, we head back to Spain, and Europe, with Hollis Graham leading the Championship for Red Bull, despite a difficult race in China. William Ingram lies second, just four points behind, after a collision with Graham in China took him out of 7th place. The two Ferrari’s are next up in third fourth after consistent points finishes and a podium apiece. Butch Coolidge goes to Spain off the back of a fantastic 5th place in China for Williams while the two Lotus boys, Bradley Downton and Jamie Franklin, will be hoping that the weekend remains dry and warm as these are the conditions that seem to best suit their Lotuses. Franklin has picked up two podiums in the last two races but Downton has struggled with incidents, and only picked up his first points in 6th place last time out. Tom Robson did like-wise for Mercedes in 7th while Oli Peacock and Jackie Chan will be hoping they can pick up their first finishes of the season. Caterham’s drivers Andae d’Hazorme and Nicholas Sunderland will also be hoping their latest upgrade can lift them back above Marussia.

    Game Update
Many of you will be interested to know that both Bradley and I intend to develop the game with new features to make the game more enjoyable for everyone, and to try and emulate some key aspects of Formula One.
This is our first exciting development. Hopefully the first of many :)

    Team/Car Development
We thought that it would be best to give the opportunity to you all to develop your cars, which will begin very soon. We plan on giving every team three upgrades per year. These will occur at Monaco, Germany and Japan. The drivers will collaborate as a team and post here about what they would like to upgrade. The choices will be as follows:

    Dry Pace
    Wet Pace
    Qualifying Speed
    Race Speed
    Reliability

We will then randomly generate a number, which will decide whether or not the car is upgraded in this chosen stat, and by how much, though no upgrade will be above +2.

Just note that this is an improvement for the car as a whole, and not the driver. As the cars are somewhat based on the 2012 season, each of you will have some idea of how you will want to improve your cars, and you’ll also know based on the three races you’ve done already (and the fourth tonight).
So, if you could all get back to me, and post here what you would like to improve (Hopefully after collaborated with your team mate). If a team doesn’t post here, then we will randomly select which stat to improve.

Stat: (Dry pace, Wet pace, Qualifying speed, Race speed, Reliability)
Collaboration: (With team mate: Yes or no)

@jamiefranklinf1 Will the number one driver receive the upgrades the race before the number two driver?

  • Profile picture of JamieFranklinF1 JamieFranklinF1 said 4 months, 1 week ago:
