Monaco Grand Prix Preview
Our next stop on the calendar is the famous street circuit of Monaco. It’s one every driver wants to win, but the tights turns and close barriers means retirement rates are usually quite high. Throw in the possibility of rain, and you’re in for one of the best races of the year. Heading into Monaco every team has an upgrade but we’re expecting some to work better than others. Lotus will be hoping to continue their fantastic run of form after a brilliant 1-2 last time out in Spain, and everyone else will be hoping otherwise. But prepare for a thriller, no matter what happens, as we gear up, for the Monaco Grand Prix!

My teammates favorite circuit. Hopefully I can at least keep him honest. A wet qualifying and dry race would be nice. Track position is king at Monaco and that will hopefully increase my chances of holding and lifting the prestigious Monaco GP winners trophy at the end of today. ;-)

Will we find out how good our upgrades are?

It’s OK. This is a fantastic game. I know very well on how it’s like to start a game which people like, but then eventually get swamped and drowned by work.

Widger tops Opening Street Practice
Alfie Widger topped the first practice session for McLaren, just over two tenths clear of Hollis Graham’s Red Bull. The Lotuses of Franklin and Downton were next up, continuing their strong form from Spain, with Mathershaw 5th for Ferrari and Morley a fantastic 6th for Williams. The second Ferrari of Bomeny was 7th, ahead of Butler, Ingram and Robson who rounded out the top 10. Sunderland was a brilliant 12th for Caterham showing the new upgrades are working well but teammate d’Hazorme struggled with steering issues. Marussia were strong in 15th and 16th, HRT managed 18th and 22nd but both Coolidge and Armos crashed early on, only managing early laps, putting them in the final two spots.

That isn’t bad, hopefully my quali pace has improved a lot :P
