    FP2 Results

    http://f1fanatic.wikia.com/wiki/RFCG_S1_Canada#FP2_Results_(Dry)

The order returned to normal in the second practice session, with Championship leader Will Ingram topping the session, as the only driver to get into the 1:14s. Second was Bradley Downton, just two tenths off, with Red Bull driver – Johnny Kingshark in a close third. The second Red Bull driver, Hollis Graham had continued bad luck though, struggling with the setup of his Red Bull, languishing in 18th place.
Ferrari weren’t looking quite as impressive as their early season form, not even managing to get into the top 10, whilst Mercedes looked significantly quicker in the hands of Shane Butler.
The most astonishing stat however, was that the top 5 were each a different nationality, and even more impressive, 7 different teams being inside the top 10!
Kaz Armos was confined to the garage all session, with multiple issues with the engine, including both KERS and gearbox-related.

6th in wet AND dry? Looking forward to this race even more now!

Peter Varga also looks pretty good for this one.

Top 7 are only different constructors if the Hoff is in a HRT ;)

Fed up with the Ferrari now! :P This is looking like a long season if we are just sliding down the field – anybody fancy a swap? :P

Bottom eight drivers are all British except for myself. Go team GB!

The Alfie-Hofman swap sure hurts team GB!

    Qualifying starts now!

    Out in Qualifying 1
    18. Robson (Mercedes)
    19. Armos (Force India)
    20. Peacock (Marussia)
    21. Kirkham (HRT)
    22. Frog (Marussia)
    23. d’Hazorme (Caterham)
    24. Widger (HRT)

Despite the wet session, Oli Peacock, nor the HRTs could emulate the same giant-killing performances they had produced in the first practice session. Though the biggest shock was Tom Robson in the Mercedes, only managing 18th place. He was off-pace in FP2, but with his promising wet pace in FP1, this came as quite a shock to both him and the team.

Second to last, again. Caterham really needs to sort out my power steering issues.

@andae23 – You could just totally start from scratch again? ;)

@bradley13 I’m thinking about an TakiInoue-upgrade, so at least I will provide some entertainment for F1-fans :)

    Out in Qualifying 2
    11. Bomeny (Ferrari)
    12. Chan (Sauber)
    13. Needham (Toro Rosso)
    14. Graham (Red Bull)
    15. Cucamest (Toro Roso)
    16. Morley (Williams)
    17. Sunderland (Caterham)

The rain eased up a little for the second part of quali, though it didn’t do much to help Hollis Graham, who will start the Grand Prix from a 14th place. It wasn’t a massive surprise considering his practice pace, but still a bit of a shock to the team. Chan and Bomeny couldn’t quite match the pace of their respective team mates, both failing to make it into the third part by less than half a tenth.

Top 10 seems like a good result based on the pace of the Ferrari, but hopefully my dry pace for the race should make things slightly better
