Lap 1 Franklin makes an excellent start off of the grid, moving up to 5th out of the second corner.
Lap 1 Cucamest and Graham try and go side by side down into turn 3…but Graham pulls over, clipping Cucamest, and they both spin out into the wall!
Lap 1 Peacock shreds his tyres on some of the debris left over, and spins out into them!
Lap 2 The safety car is out just as quickly as the race started, as the marshals clear the cars and debris.
Lap 7 The safety car is back in, but Ingram pulls off into the pits. He’s on the radio to the team to tell them that he’s lost 4th and 5th gears. That is going to blow the Championship wide open.
Lap 9 The field is still pretty bunched up, and Morley is using this to his advantage, as he throws one up the inside of turn 1, taking the Toro Rosso off-guard.
Lap 14 Tom Robson making up for a bad qualifying, by passing the Caterham of Sunderland.
