    Race Update 2

    6. Bomeny (Ferrari)

    10. Sunderland (Caterham)
    11. Chan (Sauber)

    16. Coolidge (Williams)
    17. Needham (Toro Rosso)
    18. Frog (Marussia)
    19. Peacock (Marussia)
    20. Hofman (HRT)
    21. Kirkham (HRT)
    Ret. Ingram (McLaren)
    Ret. Franklin (Lotus)

Lap 17 Forgot to mention last time out that Kingshark overtook Widger :P
Lap 20 Downton up the inside of (wherever the DRS zone is), and makes it clean passed the Ferrari, up into second. Could well be 6 consecutive Lotus podiums.
Lap 25 Franklin is looking set to pass the McLaren of Ingram, in the same place as Downton passed Mathershaw. But no! Ingram turns in, trying to undercut him, only to spin the Lotus! Franklin spins out and can’t restart the car…he doesn’t look happy whatsoever.
Lap 26 Ingram’s tyre deflates completely, it looks like he didn’t get through that incident completely unharmed, that has promoted the Caterham of d’Hazorme to a fantastic 7th!
Lap 30 Haddleton starting to look strong again, as he throws one up the inside of turn 4, taking the Mercedes of Tom Robson.

Assessing my luck in other games, this has ‘retirement’ written all over it!

3rd race this year I’ve retired from, appalling driving from @jamiefranklinf1 :P

Also why didn’t I pit at the end of lap 25

When did Ingram retire? It just says he has a puncture..

This scenario looks like I will either take you out @bradley13 or I will fall down the order :P

Lap 34 Graham makes a mistake there, getting on the grass, allowing Chan straight through.
Lap 35 Widger, Kingshark and Bomeny are very close right now. The Ferrari is looking particularly strong.
Lap 38 Kingshark tries to get around Widger, but ends up pushing Alfie wide! Bomeny is able to capitalise and get passed the two cleanly.
Lap 42 Chan on the Caterham now. d’Hazorme didn’t fight too hard there, which is smart given the incidents today.
Lap 43 Just spoken with Will Ingram. He is very unhappy with Franklin’s driving this season. When we spoke to Jamie, he wasn’t too happy either. “I don’t know if I should apologise in this case, given that he hit me, but it doesn’t matter now. I’ve had a bad weekend anyway. The last race wasn’t much better either. I think we need to look at what we’re doing, because the car clearly has pace, with Bradley currently in second,”
Lap 44 It’s a five car battle for second, just 4 seconds separates them!

(I realise that Chan and Varga have essentially swapped places. It confused me too much, and would have been too time-consuming to sort out how that somehow happened :P)

By the way, Ingram didn’t have a puncture, his tyre exploded, and crashed. Could have explained that more, but was occupied elsewhere :P

On the other hand, double Caterham points.
