German Grand Prix Preview
With the German Grand Prix tonight we reach the halfway point of our season after nine fantastic races won by nine different drivers. To get a tenth in Germany would be well beyond all expectations but with the new upgrades, who knows what will happen? Robert Mathershaw (See, I can spell your name ;) haha) of Ferrari heads to Germany having just won his first race and taken the lead of the Championship by a solitary point from McLaren’s William Ingram. It’s very close at the top though as the top 6 are separated by less than a win. Marussia and HRT will be hoping their upgrades are enough to at least keep them in touch with ‘new team’ rivals Caterham who appear to have leap-frogged themselves to the mid/front of the field with 4 consecutive points scoring finishes, including 1 podium. Meanwhile at the top of the Constructors Championship the top 4 are separated by just 20 points. It could be all change in the Championships in Germany, throw in the prospect and rain and we’re even more uncertain, let’s see what happens.
