    How about it’s Been Enough Now?

    Out in Q2
    Despite the conditions continuing as they were in Q1, the Ferrari of Mathershaw was unable to make it into Q3, adding to the list of those effected by the ‘curse of the Championship leader’. Mercedes as well were unable to capitalise on good form from the practice sessions, both falling just short of the mark. Caterham finished 15th and 17th, claiming that their car did not quite suit the wet conditions as well.

    11. Tom Robson (Mercedes)
    12. Peter Varga (Sauber)
    13. Shane Butler (Mercedes)
    14. Robert Mathershaw (Ferrari)
    15. Andae d’Hazorme (Caterham)
    16. Kevin Cucamest (Toro Rosso)
    17. Nicholas Sunderland (Caterham)

    Ingram comes out on Top of Three-Way Pole Fight
    Even as Qualifying started it became clear that the top three spots would be fought over between William Ingram, Jamie Franklin and Johnny Kingshark, and that is indeed the order they finished. Between them they topped all three Qualifying sessions and took the top three spots in all as well. As the final session arrived, so did a burst of heavier rain, meaning Q3 was more treacherous than the earlier sessions, but everyone survived. Downton put his Lotus fourth after a scare in Q2 with Bomeny the first Ferrari in 5th. Graham could only manage 9th in the Red Bull after struggling to heat his tyres in the wet conditions.

    Q2 is pretty good considering that we’re still backmarkers in the wet.

    Not looking too bad for Caterham at the moment. With our awesome dry pace we could get some more points.

  • Profile picture of andae23 andae23 said 4 months, 1 week ago:

    @jamiefranklinf1 Please don’t worry about it :)

    Good to see there are no more Force Indias and Toro Rosso in the top 10 – good news for Caterham’s constructors’ position!
