@bradley13 I’m just assuming that all of Mclaren’s mishaps are pitstop errors ;)
@andae23 Maybe Merc could just sign all of the drivers, so that there’s no one left to beat them :P

I was just about to correct him as well :P haha. I’m pretty gutted for Alfie too. He should definitely be higher in the standings, but such is life :/

Congrats to Sauber for their second win though :)

@andae23 We’ll win in Abu Dhabi. Favourite track + almost definitely dry. Should have a good shot.

    Singapore Grand Prix Preview
The Singapore GP brings us back to Asia, after an eventful and unpredictable European section. We now have eleven different winners, with the only driver being able to repeat that feat being Jamie Franklin of Lotus. Bradley Downton is the only driver of the top four teams yet to have added a victory to his name.
Rain is always a threat amidst the tight street circuit, giving the opportunity to Ferrari and Sauber to emulate recent success, as well as our current rain master, Butch Coolidge. Who will claim the victory in the tiresome, long Singapore GP? It’s anyone’s guess!

    Laps: 61
    Chance of Rain: 55%

Favorite Tracks: Widger (McLaren), Butler (Mercedes), Peacock (Marussia)

Another wet session, just what we need :P

It’s update time again! After the Singapore GP, we will be having a one day break, until we race again on Sunday in Japan. I’m sure you all know how it works by now, so collaborate amongst yourselves and inform us on here how you would like to upgrade your team.
Once again, the choices are: Dry Pace, Wet Pace, Qualifying Speed and Race Speed.

    Free Practice 1
Butch Coolidge once again showed that no matter the track, if it rains, then he is very quick. Somehow finding grip that other drivers weren’t able to, he was able to set the fastest time of all, by half a second. There were concerns over his reliability early in the session, but after a quick fix, was able to trounce his competitors. The Sauber of Varga lined up next, showing that his pace in Monza was no lie.
Alfie Widger didn’t have such a good session, unable to produce enough heat in the tyres to set a lap able to get him within the top 10. HRT were able to do better than usual, finishing in 14th and 16th.

    Free Practice 2
Coolidge’s reliability faltered once more, prompting him to finish down in 23rd place after his fantastic performance this morning. Not only was he unable to complete the second half of the session, but he also had a failed KERS and DRS system during the first half.
Red Bull and Alfie Widger’s fortunes seemed to turn around, as they stole the top 3 positions, with Alfie’s team mate, William Ingram close behind. Franklin finished in 5th, though he mentioned afterwards that there was more pace to come from the car, in qualifying.
The Ferraris were unable to break into the top 10, struggling to get into a rhythm in the dry conditions.
