Well that was solid race for me and I’m very happy to get my first podium of this season.

Regarding the mass disconnection, I’m not sure what we should do about it and I don’t know the entire order on lap 18. All I know is that the order from lap 18 from what I could see was: 1st Common Monsoon, 2nd JF, 3rd Slr, 4th Sato. After the mass disconnection only me, Monsoon, JF and Spud remained in the race, with the top three the same as before and Spud in 4th. At least this doesn’t affect my result one way or the other.

So if we have enough evidence to show where everyone was placed when the mass-disconnect happened, should we do a countback? Poor @Spud finished 4th! Whatever happens, someone’s going to be wronged a little bit. It’s a shame when this stuff happens.

@commonmonsoon i have evidence of 3rd to 5th at least. i wanna keep 4th place as i worked so hard for it! :(

Qualifying: 9th?
Not as quick as I’d hoped, was 6 tenths up before running out of fuel and spinning in front of Electro, then 5 tenths up before crashing in the same place, which would’ve put me 7th.

Race: 6th? (1st after 22 laps)
Started the race well, up into 4th even after snagging on to the front of Jamie. Then got settled into the GP2 battle for 4th up to 9th, with many spings and crashes including one into my teammate which earned me a penalty. After being hit by somebody the field spread out and so I just drove the laps, apparently had a battle with Electro and then half the field disconnected, so I slowed down to give David a battle but we were pretty evenly matched so I won after 22 laps.

And Murray’s about to lose the tennis.

I think we should leave this to @magnificent-geoffrey to be honest. As it’s his series and he wasn’t in the race, he could probably give out the best verdict.

A little tiny part of me would love to keep the 4th place, but the sportsman in me wants to do the countback. To me, keeping 4th would be like Man United winning a match because of a penalty that should never have been given.

That said, I think we should have as much video evidence as possible so we can have a clear indication of what the result should be. It’s just a pity that this kinda stuff happens. I would be on for the countback, but we’d need videos just to be correct and stuff.

As @slr says, maybe it’s best if @magnificent-geoffrey would like to make the call on what he thinks we should do.

Wait… we split into two races after the disconnect? That’s bizarre. Can I suggest we try a different host? Maybe do a test race with Australian/European racers but have the host’s PS3 connected via ethernet?
