Sorry @slr …I slowed down after I made contact to let you back through, and then suddenly had my teammate appear which really made me jump actually :P

I slowed down after seeing the contact but expected you to re-accelerate so didn’t slow down enough. It caught me by surprise when you didn’t speed up again and so I went straight into the back of you. :P

    It’s fine, it doesn’t matter.

Well my video is completely broken so a nice long(ish) report is in order instead.

Quali – Last, at the start of the first quali I nip to the loo so when it was restarted I was still on the loo when invites were sent out so I didn’t join until quali had started so I started dead last.

Race – 2nd – I avoided incidents through turn 1, 2 and 3 and came out of it about 7/8, I then started about catching and passing people, which when well until I caught david_jv, and I spun coming out of turn 2 and I lost a load of time. Eventually I moved back up the field again and was second. Damon then pitted and he came out just ahead of me, I closed the gap to a second or so (can’t remember the exact time :L) but on my in lap I dropped back a fair bit and my tyres were done and I under steered wide in ferradura and locked on on the run off and went straight on. I pitted for options and tried to catch damon, who had a 20 odd second lead, I got this down to about 19-20 seconds before I realised I was on -1 on my fuel so I had to start saving fuel. That, my rubbish pace on options and my bad tyre wear on them meant I dropped back a bit. Although with Damon’s attempts to set fastest lap I ended about 20 seconds behind him at the end of the race. Was pretty fun :)

Thanks to @Spud and @silverkeg for organising this great championship :) and again to @silverkeg for scoring all of williams’ points when I kept disconnecting :P. AND to my connection for actually holding up for a race so I could get a podium :D.

I too am up for GT5 stuff!
