OK guys. I wanted to take this moment to ask you all what you think about re-introducing the ‘dropped race’ rule.
Those of you from last season will remember that we had this rule implemented:
After Round 7, each driver will nominate a race result to ‘drop’, causing them to lose the points they gained for that particular Round. The Championship table will be altered to reflect this before the final Round commences.
After Round 8 is completed, the driver with the highest total points score will be declared the Official F1Fanatic World Champion.
Now, I did not implement that same rule this season because as I confirmed the calendar months in advance, I anticipated that we wouldn’t have the same issues with people not making it to races like we did last year. However, because some of you are completely useless have had other things preventing you from making one or two of the races this season, I wanted to ask you all whether you think we should bring the drop rule back in.
In the interest of fairness, I will only implement it if the majority support it and the decision will be confirmed before Monaco. I am only asking if the rule should be implemented in the same way it was last year – I’m not looking to change how we do it. Personally, I don’t mind either way but if you could please let me know if you support or object to bringing the dropped race rule back, I would appreciate it.
