As I’m sad, I’ve actually sat down and worked it all out…

iamsa8 becomes Collantine Cup champion if he:
- Wins
- Finishes 2nd
- Finishes 3rd, with Magnificent Geoffrey failing to win
- Finishes 4th, with Magnificent Geoffrey failing to win

Magnificent Geoffrey becomes Collantine Cup champion if he:
- Wins and iamsa8 does not finish 2nd
- Finishes 2nd and ed24f1 does not win and iamsa8 finishes 5th or lower
- Finishes 3rd, with iamsa8 finishing 7th or lower and neither ed24f1 nor damonsmedley winning

ed24f1 becomes Collantine Cup champion if he:
- Wins, if iamsa8 finishes 5th or lower
- Finishes 2nd, with iamsa8 finishing 8th or lower and Mag finishing 4th or lower.
- Finishes 3rd, with iamsa8 not scoring, Mag finishing 6th or lower and damonsmedley not winning

damonsmedley retains his Collantine Cup championship if he:
- Wins, with iamsa8 finishing 7th or lower and Magnificent Geoffrey finishing 3rd or lower
- Finishes 2nd, with iamsa8 not scoring, Magnificent Geoffrey finishing 6th or lower and ed24f1 finishing 4th or lower

@Slr How did you work that out? The difference between finishing second and third is three points. Three less than one hundred is ninety-seven, which means I’d be twenty points behind Steve. If I won in Silverstone and he didn’t score, I’d leapfrog him! But that pass was still pretty handy for my championship hopes.

Anyway, my video is uploaded. It’s a long one, but that’s only because my race was so eventful! Enjoy.

@damonsmedley I think I used the points Steve had without dropping a race result, and used your points with the drop the race result rule and then forgot about the countback. I obviously wasn’t thinking clearly.

OK, time to do something I’ve been putting off for a little too long. I’ve edited my video from Suzuka last year, and I’ll do the final race in Brazil tomorrow night!

This was not a particularly exciting race, but hey, I won!

I can’t believe my second Collantine Cup is over already! Gutted I can’t make Silverstone. It’s been a massive improvement this season none the less, and less mistakes wouldn’t have gone amiss. I’ve been equally surprised and fortunate enough to be mixing it up with the big guys at the front, and that more than anything else has been really fun. I’ll leave the proper review till the end of the season though.

Now I just want my team mate to bring home a trophy to the Brit/Sauber cabinet. Do me proud @magnificent-geoffrey

I’ve just realised the finale is of the second Collantine Cup is going to be almost exactly the same as the situation was in Abu Dhabi 2010…

Magffrey is Webber
Ed is Vettel
I’m Hamilton

The biggest question is; who will be Petrov?

well it seems my season was over sometime ago, I will be away in Scotland next weekend so i’ll be missing the race.
