I’d agree with all of that Damon. It feels strange at the minute, but generally I think lap times will be slower on this game which can only be a good thing.

The main difference I noticed was that it’s more of a challenge to time your braking and also when turning into corners after this phase it’s easier to lock up.

It’s that time again, folks. With exactly one month to go until the pre-season practice day, it’s time to get some input from you all on what direction we should take things this year. I was quite happy with how things were in Season 2 and see no reason to change much, but let me know what you guys think.

This questionnaire is for Collantine Cup members who competed in four or more races in Season 2 ONLY. This is NOT an entry form for people wanting to join the series this year – that will come nearer the start of the season.

Unfortunately due to other commitments @Magnificent-Geoffrey isn’t able to run the third season of the Collantine Cup. But don’t fret for the championship will go on. @Spud and I have taken up the mantle to ensure Season 3 is as much a success as the first two thrilling Championships.

The Cup will be run on F1 2012 and the calender will remain largely the same as earlier posted except with the Pre-Season Test and Round 1 pushed back a week. Calender as follows: (Venues TBC)

Official Pre-Season Practice Day: 25th November (Attendance is required by all competitors who are available)

Round 1: December 9th

Round 2: December 16th

Round 3: December 30th

Round 4: January 13th

Round 5: January 27th

Round 6: February 10th

Round 7: February 24th

Final Round: March 10th

Newcomers registration will be posted shortly with the vote to be held after that. I hope to see you all racing for that highly coveted Collantine Cup :D

Don’t suppose anyone’s found the game totally different using a wheel since the patch 3 weeks back? I’ll be the first to admit I’ve had problems since they changed it, which is a shame as I was really enjoying it.

So glad to hear this seems to be still coming together. Many, many thanks to Silverkeg, Spud and Damon.

Hopefully I might be able to make a cameo appearance at some point in the season, but I’m not holding my breath. In the meanwhile, carry on on the assumption that I won’t be able to take part.

Count me in too. Only just seen the post from a few days back so apologies for not confirming sooner. Now I just need to actually go and buy the game (think it may be more appropriate if I’m in an HRT rather than a McLaren this year!). Also just to confirm that I will almost certainly be unable to make round 3, but should be ok for all the others.
