Ok. Next Sunday, on December 2nd at 11am, we’ll have a pre season practice session. I was aware of some of you who couldn’t attend today, and that can’t be helped, but thanks for letting me know. I just want to make sure everyone is happy with the way the game works and everything else.

If you can’t attend next week, can you let me know either here, or via twitter. @thespuditron will get me there.

After failing horrendously in the final race of my Championship today, I have noticed that I REALLY need to practice, and will make sure I do before the first race so as not to cause total chaos!
What circuit is the first race at?

I don’t think it’s a matter of “testing” you as such, more to see if everyone is happy with the way the season is arranged, happy that the rules are ok, and seeing as I’ll be hosting some (or all, however this all pans out) of the races, I wanted to make sure my connection is up to scratch before we do the real thing. I’m a tad disappointed about this morning. I was aware of some folks not being able to make it, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Damon will be doing the opening post soon, and the season opener will be revealed then.

Remember everyone, Practice is on at 11am (10pm AEDT) December 2nd, or this Sunday. If you can’t make it, be sure to let @theSpuditron or me know. The test is to ensure we are all ok with the rules and test out our hosting.

Unfortunately the shop I ordered the game from damaged the disc somehow and I’ve had to get a refund and buy it elsewhere. I expect it to arrive by the middle of next week. But yeah, I’ll miss the practice race. And I’ll be terrible for the first few rounds!

We’d like to try get a full dress rehearsal done, to check hosting, rules, etc. etc., before we start the championship for reals.
