I think the suspension bug could be worked around by mandating 6-6 spring stiffness for everybody. Or if you think somebody might be bending the rules for their own gains, then you could make it 11-11 for everyone. Other than that, I haven’t experienced any real problems online – to the point where I’d still like it to go ahead as planned, whether it be on F1 2011 or if we do it for a second year on F1 2010, but thinking about it over the past couple of days, I don’t think GT5 would be the best replacement.

I’m taking all of your views onboard. It’s quite tricky for me to be the Balestre of this series this year as I’ve got a lot of stuff that’ll be taking up my time over the next few months, so this isn’t the most ideal way to be planning the build-up to Season 2.

I have a questionnaire that I’m doing at the moment to help find out what you guys think what we should be doing this year in terms of settings, calendar etc. When it’s finished (hopefully later today), I’ll post the link.

Also, I’ve tried to organise some casual races recently but no-one’s seemed to be that fussed. I’ve been trying to gauge who it is we should offer some of the 5 or so free places in the series to. So if the Season 1 guys have any F1F PS3ers on here in mind who you’d like to recommend for joining us in Season 2, please PM me on here and let me know. We need to get the entry list finalised before the testing day on November 20th when we have a practice race so that everyone’s familiar with how things will work in the series proper.

I think as long as everyone knows about the setup issue, there’s no problem, as no-one gets disadvantaged.

The Season 2 Questionnaire is now live. Please take a couple of minutes to read and answer the questions provided, even if you do not wish to compete in Season 2. At this stage, I want to find out what the original drivers from the Inaugural Season think we should do as this is their series as much as it is mine, so I’ll only be accepting answers from those who competed in the Final Round of Season 1, at Interlagos.

RRR uses this rule, you’re just cheating yourself if you break it.

I’ve done the questionnaire :) And as for playing on GT5, as I don’t have it (though I am considering buying it), I would be against doing the Collantine Cup on GT5.

Guys, If there is any space, I would love to be part of this championship. I run the Junior version of this and came runner-up to @ed24f1. I am a very fair driver, just ask ed ;), but that’s if there is any space left guys. Cheers ;)

Sorry for only just joining this thread, I’ve only just realised it was active again as I don’t tend to visit the forum much at the moment.

I really do hope there’s a patch for this game by 18th November. However a lot of my bad experiences with F1 2011 online are from people being a bunch of d**ks rather than the actual game itself. Although I admit, F1 2010 was better for online play and that wasn’t exactly perfect.

I’ve filled the questionnaire out and I’m up for doing the cup either way. Also Sunday morning UK time is better for me this time round.

Yes, @JT19 is a very fair driver, and we had a great battle last season through the Junior version last year.
