Just filled out the form, I haven’t played online too much as I have been studying for exams but my final is on the 17th so I will definately be looking forward too playing some more.
I would like to race casually with some of the guys on the forum as well…after the 17th

I do quite like the sound of this. It’d be mighty crack to have a crack at a race with you guys if I could. But be warned, I am supremely rubbish. But hey, it’s all just for fun (even though my competitive streak may well appear) :P

@Magnificent-Geoffrey – apologies for filling out the wrong form. Perhaps it wasn’t such a good idea to be browsing on the forum at 3am in the morning after coming home from the pub. But could I suggest you start another topic as there are already 783 posts to this one. It seems you’ve had to repeat yourself 5 times may be because it’s a bit of an ask for some of us to trawl through 53 pages of posts (especially when you’ve had a few pints) to find the one where you posted the instructions for this season. Anyway, just a suggestion.

I have now sent each of the original participants returning for season 2 a PM so they can vote for the users they most want to be offered places on the grid.

We received 12 expressions of interest and we have 6 places on the grid to fill. This will be a secret ballot and I will announce who has secured places on the grid after I get responses from everyone, which will hopefully be as soon as possible.

I can also reveal the results of the survey I created to help work out which settings we’ll use for this season as well. But I’m going to keep the calendar and car selection secret, for now

I’m not entirely sure about damage. I personally think we should test this to make sure that we can all race with few incidents, and beat the lag.

Now that we have a full grid at last, I was wondering whether we would all be interested in having an extra practice race this Sunday at 11:00am UK time (10:00pm Aus Eastern time) for an hour before the pre-race GP coverage starts? We could even do Saturday at the same time if that’s better for everyone.

I think we could do with getting a better idea of how utterly chaotic things will be if CM don’t release a patch in time and will give us a better idea of whether damage is a good idea or not.
