F1 in Pubs is a new group to help F1 fans meet up to watch races and other F1 sessions live.

With only half of the F1 races on free-to-air television in the UK this year, F1 in Pubs aims to help F1 fans get together and make sure they don’t miss any of the action.

You can use the forum to arrange meet-ups at pubs and other locations screening live F1 races.

If you wish to swap contact details, we encourage you to do so through the internal messaging system to keep your personal information private. Go to My Account > Messages to send a message.

You can find more information on the F1 in Pubs website run by Kris Brown, who is also the moderator of this forum.

We also remind all users to take steps to be safe when meeting up. Read this guide on How to Safely Meet a Person You Met Online.

Scottish fans, be aware that pubs aren’t allowed to open until 12:30pm on Sundays. Edinburgh meetups will be starting from Bahrain! Or Spain, if they cancel Bahrain. Location to be announced soon!

Anyone know any pubs in Essex (London side) that’ll be open for 6am on Sunday? All I’ve found so far is the casino at Westfield – it’s open 24/7 and has Sky, but my OH won’t approve :)

@topdowntoedown The only place I can think of are branches of Rileys as they are 24 hr and show sky. Probably a few around Essex. I’m trying to find one for this Sunday but in South West London (the Southfields one closed down recently which is a bit of an arse).

I contacted walkabout cardiff, they are showing the race this weekend, I presume that may be the same throughout the uk

Fantastic idea. A great way to bring together F1 fanatics in a pub/bar atmosphere for discussion and banter too (not going to lie, we’re very much a segregated lot).

I’m a Uni student in Leicester, so naturally I know quite a few bars and pubs X) If any of you are from the Leicester area let me know and I’ll keep posted on whether any of these bars/pubs are showing the races, and vice-versa if you manage to find any first.

anyone know of any Pubs in Reading – I have not seen 1 pub yet advertise they are showing F1, only standard Sky Sports.

@timtoo For residential customers if they have Sky Sports that means they have the F1 channel – is that not the case for pubs? Or is it just that they have it but won’t show it?
