Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Step forwards Mr Herbert! Amazing likable and very good infront of the camera22nd July 2012, 20:45 at 8:45 pm #205958SlrParticipantBest Driver: Fernando Alonso
Worst Driver: Romain Grosjean
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Williams
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Di Resta
Best Funny- moment: Vettel frustrated with Hamilton
Most Surprising Result: Lewis Hamilton

Special Mention to: Kamui Kobayashi, Sergio Perez, Jenson Button
Race Rating: 7/1022nd July 2012, 21:07 at 9:07 pm #205959BullfrogParticipantBest Driver: Alonso. There were some easy DRS passes going on – but never at the front. Clever use of KERS by the leader, I suspect.
Worst Driver: Grosjean, is the honeymoon over?
Best Team: Sauber, great result.
Worst Team: Williams, not sure whether Maldonado was unlucky or ran over debris, but he seemed to go backwards in the race.
Best Overtake: Raikkonen making it past di Resta
Best Funny- moment: Finger Boy giving Hamilton several fingers.
Most Surprising Result: Webber nowhere. Good to see JB back where he belongs too.
Least Surprising Result: Damage for Massa and Senna
Special Mention to: McLaren’s immense pit stop, and Raikkonen’s clean and classy overtaking. Not bad for a rally driver!
Race Rating: 7/10 Pretty good race on a rubbish track. Enjoyed Vettel struggling for pace but still throwing the kitchen sink at it.

BBC vs Sky: Saw a bit of Sky today, glad I’m not paying for it. Brundle and Croft thought Hamilton should’ve got a blue flag when he was behind Alonso (but clear of Vettel)?!
Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Lee McKenzie, hopefully the future face of F1 on BBC. Asks good questions and doesn’t patronise her audience.
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: that Simon guy is hopeless
Best Commentary moment: Coulthard saying Sauber couldn’t afford chairs for their mechanics (maybe they’ll get some prize money soon!)
World feed rating: 8/10 Sehr gut. Followed the action well, and I love the flying camera, it’s Hockenheim’s only redeeming feature.22nd July 2012, 21:19 at 9:19 pm #205960SlrParticipantBrundle and Croft thought Hamilton should’ve got a blue flag when he was behind Alonso (but clear of Vettel)?!
No they didn’t, they were saying that Hamilton shouldn’t have had blue flags waved at him because he was faster.

Worst Driver: Felipe Massa?

Worst Team: HRT
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on the Force India which was racing with Schumacher
Best Funny- moment: no particulair one
Most Surprising Result: Hulkenberg starting 4th
Least Surprising Result: Alonso top3 starting from pole
Special Mention to: Niki Lauda for being a bit insensitive asking about the overtaking and political stuff while on the podium, didn’t appriciate that.
Race Rating: 7/1022nd July 2012, 22:26 at 10:26 pm #205962UTBowler0407ParticipantBest Driver: Button
Worst Driver: Senna, maybe? No one really stood out for worst driver.
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Williams
Best Overtake: Schumacher & Raikkonen on one of the Force Indias.
Best Funny- moment: Vettel whining about Lewis passing him.
Most Surprising Result: Vettel’s penalty. Not saying I disagree with the stewards, I’m just surprised they actually gave him one.
Least Surprising Result: Yet another podium for Alonso and Kimi.
Special Mention to: Alonso; with 5 podiums in the last 6 races, I think smart money would be on him to win the WDC. Also, what a drive from Kamui!
Race Rating: 7/10; not outstanding, but there were good battles for position throughout.22nd July 2012, 23:11 at 11:11 pm #205963Antonio NarteaParticipantBest Driver: Fernando Alonso – in a league of his own

Worst BBC commentator/ presenter: All were good
Best Commentary moment: DC’s comment about Sauber’s lack of chairs
World feed rating: 8/10 — caught pretty much everything with nothing special.23rd July 2012, 8:47 at 8:47 am #205965Bradley DowntonParticipantBest Driver: Fernando Alonso – Incredible, if he keeps this up, the title is his to lose (again).
Worst Driver: Felipe Massa – The move at the start was stupid.
Best Team: Sauber – They weren’t the quickest, but they weren’t far off.
Worst Team: Williams – That was poor, just poor.
Best Overtake: Cecotto on half the field in GP2 (It was the best move I saw all weekend), Disregarding that, most of the moves were rather plain, probably one of Perez’s, he did the most.
Best Funny- moment: Hamilton unlapping himself from Vettel
Most Surprising Result: Jenson Button – Up to 2nd
Least Surprising Result: Fernando Alonso – At the top
Special Mention to:
Vettel – Drove a good race, apart from that move.
Raikkonen – Quietly went about his business and got another strong result.
Kobayashi – Solid result when he really needed it.
Perez – Strong again.
Race Rating: 7/1023rd July 2012, 13:42 at 1:42 pm #205966necrodethmortemParticipantBest Driver: Alonso over the weekend, Perez during the race.
Worst Driver: Grosjean.
Best Team: Sauber.
Worst Team: Williams and Force India.
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on di Resta.
Best Funny- moment: Hamilton unlapping himself.
Most Surprising Result: Grosjean.
Least Surprising Result: Kartikheyan.
Special Mention to: Hamilton, he could’ve won (despite the poor start) if it weren’t for that puncture.
Race Rating: 6/1023rd July 2012, 13:49 at 1:49 pm #205967the_sigmanParticipantBest Driver: Fernando Alonso
Worst Driver: Romain Grosjean
Best Team: Sauber
Worst Team: Williams
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Di Resta
Best Funny- moment: Vettel frustrated with Hamilton
Most Surprising Result: Lewis Hamilton

Race Rating: 8/1023rd July 2012, 16:25 at 4:25 pm #205968RagingInfernoParticipantBest Driver: Button or Alonso; both had great weekends, Jenson was let down by his car qualifying however.
Worst Driver: Grosjean; looked clumsy the whole race, nowhere near his teammate. Massa, Webber and Senna also had poor performances.
Best Team: Sauber; got both of their drivers into good positions and had a good race pace.
Worst Team: None come to mind, though Williams weren’t as competitive as I’d expected them to be.
Best Overtake: Raikkonen on Di Resta; Great driving from both of them, very brave from Kimi and it paid off!
Best Funny- moment: Vettel waving his arm furiously at Hamilton after Lewis had unlapped himself.
Most Surprising Result: Button in 2nd; a return to form after some dire races.
Least Surprising Result: Alonso winning; as long as he has a good car it’s hard to see anyone consistantly beating him.
Special Mention to: Hulkenburg; out-performed his highly rated teammate and had a superb qualifying session to get to the second row of the grid
