Best Driver: Kevin Magnussen
Worst Driver: Adrian Sutil
Best Team: Mercedes
Worst Team: Sauber
Best Overtake: Bottas on Raikonnen
Funniest Moment: _
Most Surprising Result: Lewis retiring
Least Surprising Result: Mercedes in front
Special Mention to: Riccardo, Bottas, Kyvat
Race Rating: 7/10
______Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: David Coulthard
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: Suzi Perry
Best Commentary moment: Some comment about muppet noses by Coulthard
World feed rating: 6/1017th March 2014, 19:23 at 7:23 pm #253008Bradley DowntonParticipantBest Driver: Valtteri Bottas – While everyone else just seemed to follow the leader and overtake through pitstops, Bottas just went for it. If it hadn’t been for him the race would’ve been a LOT more boring.
Worst Driver: Esteban Gutierrez – No-one did anything bad that stuck out apart from Esteban. Watching the highlights I saw him outbrake himself into T3 and clip the back of Perez’s Force India – damaging his own car and giving Perez a puncture after a brilliant start (he was the slow car you can see onboard with Vettel around T5).
Best Team: Mercedes – as I’ve commented before. Head and shoulders (and knees and toes) above the rest.
Worst Team: Lotus – From winning last year to being back row, miles off the pace and then a double retirement – though granted this was the engine. Ok, so it was expected, but that doesn’t make it better. Ok, they went further than expected, that still doesn’t make it better.
Best Overtake: Valtteri Bottas on Jean-Eric Vergne (Turn 3 on lap 5) – Around the outside of three and was ahead before four, brilliant move! Just to mention the move on Raikkonen was ok, but it was on the inside and therefore – to me anyway – not as impressive.
Funniest Moment: Daniel Ricciardo falling off the podium during champagne celebrations.
Most Surprising Result: Kevin Magnussen making it to the podium.
Least Surprising Result: Mercedes dominating despite not even trying.
Special Mention to: Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenberg, Jean-Eric Vergne, Daniil Kvyat, Lewis Hamilton
Race Rating: 5/1017th March 2014, 19:36 at 7:36 pm #253010TomskParticipantBest Driver: Ricciardo – really played to his car’s strengths.
Worst Driver: Gutierrez (Kobayashi had a good excuse, and was more honourable than the driver he hit)
Best Team: McLaren are back – brought the best out of Magnussen and moved Button up the field brilliantly.
Worst Team: All the Ferrari-engined teams were rubbish in various ways, but it was as if Sauber weren’t there at all.
Best Overtake: Bottas & Raikkonen. Clean and determined. Passing on the Finnish baton?
Funniest Moment: Excellent audience participation when Vettel got knocked out of qualifying, and Ricciardo took pole (briefly).
Most Surprising Result: Ricciardo and Magnussen staying at the front
Least Surprising Result: 2 Lotuses stopped by the side of the track (surprisingly late in the race, mind)
Special Mention to: the McLaren jack – they should lend it to Force India and Toro Rosso.
Race Rating: 6 – some nice moments, but worrying throwbacks to the bad old days of waiting for the pit stops, too.
______Best BBC/Sky commentator/presenter: Allan McNish. Needs to be on telly more, a natural in front of camera with a lot of knowledge of hybridness.
Worst BBC/Sky commentator/ presenter: David Croft. Forced mateyness and lame jokes made me mute the TV and put BBC radio on. Sky kindly showed qualifying on a free channel, but there’s no way I’m paying to listen to that fool.
Best Commentary moment: David Coulthard explaining the “hit the peeps” radio message – I wonder if any drivers have “moo” in their ear whenever it’s time to change gear.
World feed rating: 6/10 Well edited, followed the action but TURN THE ENGINE NOISE UP!17th March 2014, 19:42 at 7:42 pm #253011UTBowler0407ParticipantBest Driver: Magnussen
Worst Driver: Tough decision. Gutierrez, I’d say, just based on the fact that he was off the pace of his teammate for most of the weekend.
Best Team: Mercedes. Probably would’ve had an easy 1-2 if not for Hamilton’s engine going down a cylinder.
Worst Team: Lotus
Best Overtake: Bottas on Raikkonen. Great stuff.
Funniest Moment: Button’s front end getting circumcised during the pitstop.
Most Surprising Result: Double podium for McLaren, both Toro Rossos finishing in the points
Least Surprising Result: Mercedes domination, Lotus failing to finish
Special Mention to: Ricciardo, Rosberg, Bottas, Kvyat
Race Rating: 8/1017th March 2014, 19:50 at 7:50 pm #253012RetardedF1shParticipantBest Driver: Valtteri Bottas – Hard choice between him and Kevin Magnussen, but Kevin did what was expected from where he started after Hamilton retired and Ricciardo was excluded, Valtteri exceeded my expectations and made two great recoveries from the back
Worst Driver: Sergio Perez – he was nowhere near Hulkenberg’s pace and only scored a point after Ricciardo was excluded
Best Team: McLaren – Mercedes might have been faster, but overall McLaren was better scoring a double podium
Worst Team: Lotus – Their pace was horrible and neither one of the driver even entered the top 10 at any point and both eventually retired
Best Overtake: Bottas’ first overtake on Räikkönen in turn 3
Funniest Moment: ?
Most Surprising Result: Both McLarens on podium
Least Surprising Result: Chilton was last classified finisher
Special Mention to: Daniil Kvyat for scoring points on his debut, Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo,

Race Rating: 7/1017th March 2014, 21:25 at 9:25 pm #253023MichalParticipantBest Driver: Magnussen – fantastic, faultless job, achieving a podium in his debut, just like Hamilton
Worst Driver: I have no idea
Best Team: Mercedes – they are is a league of their own
Worst Team: Lotus – from being closest Red Bull challengers in the final part of 2013 to fighting at the back with no reliability
Best Overtake: Bottas on Vergne around the outside of Turn 3
Funniest Moment: When McLaren’s front jackman damaged Button’s nose
Most Surprising Result: Ricciardo and Magnussen claiming podium finishes
Least Surprising Result: Rosberg winning comfortably
Special Mention to: Bottas, thanks to him there was some action on the racetrack
Race Rating: 6/10, quite poor show to be honest17th March 2014, 22:23 at 10:23 pm #253029Ed MarquesParticipantBest Driver: Magnussen

Worst Team: Sauber
Best Overtake: Bottas on Vergne
Funniest Moment: Tip of the Mclaren nose falling off.
Most Surprising Result: Red Bull pace.
Least Surprising Result: Sauber pace.

Worst Driver: Gutierrez
Best Team: McLaren
Worst Team: Lotus, but that was pretty much expexted from him considering their testing.
Best Overtake: Bottas’ first overtake on Raikkonen
Funniest Moment: Button’s pit-shortcut.
Most Surprising Result: The entirety of qualifying.
Least Surprising Result: Lotus not finishing the race.
Special Mention to: Kvyat, Bottas, Ricciardo, Kobayashi, Hulkenberg.
Race Rating: 7/10World feed rating: 6/10, graphics dropped out quite often, but the new ones are quite nice.
It seems some people were kinda shocked about Perez and how far behind Hulkenberg he was, but he suffered a puncture on lap one, causing him to start with a major deficit. He did have some problems with his brakes during qualifying as well, apparently.
