Abu Dhabi GP – hotels and transit (2 posts)

    Hi there, I was hoping someone could help me with my first visit to a GP. I have an opportunity to attend Yas Marina this year and I need some advice on hotels and how to get to the circuit. I’ve rung round most of the hotels on the island and concluded that they’re fully booked. Can anyone recommend a hotel on the mainland near the bridge, preferably with good transport links?

    Transport is my major question though. I’m making a guess that the traffic to/from the circuit is going to be terrible and the city’s public transport system is probably non-existent. Has anyone got any good tips on travel between the city and the island? I was thinking perhaps I could hire a push bike, or is it feasible to talk to the circuit?
