@prisoner-monkeys well, instead of spending money on that street track at Mar del Plata, they’d just upgrade a brilliant circuit.
Also, I think the track would be good for racing. Not brilliant, maybe, but good enough. Certainly unique among all the other races, as it’s more “Spa-ish” than any of the other racetracks.
It’d be also good for Argentina. Instead of the beach in Mar del Plata (which isn’t particularly pretty, plus the port zone is quite horrid on it’s own), we’d have a full 2 hours watching the lovely mountains, lake and the beauty of our country.
And yes, that means a lot in a race. It gives the track character. Recent Tilke-dromes could be put anywhere in the world and still look the same, that’d not happen with Potrero de los Funes.
