Why are we even discussing moving the Grand Prix elsewhere? So long as Albert Park remains a viabkc circuit, Formula 1 should stay there.

Hey PM, let me know when there’s an interesting V8 race – I fell out of love with them a long time ago. I did a hot lap in a V8 there a few years ago and it looked like fun.

Funny thing though. I was talking to the Save Albert Park people on another issue this week and they sent me a bundle of pics showing how few people showed up on Thursday of the GP. No suprise there but Ron said the were 46000 people there. Even if the SAP people did some selective editing of the photos I’d have to agree that Ron’s telling porkies about attendance. Is it true that they don’t have a barcoded ticketing system at Melbourne? Ron’s not helping himself if he fiddling the numbers.

My one and only COTD was regarding RonWalker and his mismanagement of the Australian Gp. Every year it has become more of a corporate entertainment package than a public event, as long as it keeps Ron’s pockets full, it won’t change.
