One of the great topics on the forum last year was the list of songs used by the BBC at the end of its raceday programme. Made a great itunes playlist and car CD …. so this year I want to start a similar topic.

The BBC has used the following at the end of Qualifying :

1. Bahrain: Eye For An Eye – UNKLE
2. Australia : Australia – Manic Street Preachers
3. Malaysia : Rain On Me – Cheryl Cole
4. China : When Love Takes Over – David Guetta
5. Barca : Flashback – Calvin Harris
6. Monaco : OMG – Usher
7. Turkey : The Different Strokes Theme Music
8. Canada : No Music as ran out of time before football !!!

For Raceday coverage the BBC has got clever and often used two songs merged so here goes :

1. Bahrain: Dont Stop Believing – Journey
2. Australia : Joyride (Roxette) / Raradise City (Guns n Roses)
3. Malaysia : Thunder Road (Bruce Springsteen) / By The Way (Red Hot Chillis)
4. China : Take That (Wiley) / Sledgehammer (Peter Grabriel)
5. Barca : Bat Out Of Hell (Meatloaf) /(afraid I do not know second song-see below)
6. Monaco : Hot Pants Im Coming (Bobby Bird) / Good Time (Roll Deep)
7. Turkey : Born To Be Wild(Steppenwolf)/ Good Time (Roll Deep)(for a second time!)
8. Canada : Hocus Pocus – Focus (i think)

Anyone that can help with the Barca second tune which was short and went “lets go lets go ” or wishes to confirm Canada or disagrees please post.

I really liked the end of race montage’s last year and using Journey was great after Barhain. But I’ve really hated the ones where they mash two songs together, they’ve really gone down hill this year.

Back on the forum for the first time in aaaages. :)

And as always, it’s a good source for the BBC playlist. Thanks for sharing the quali playlist – I’m thinking if I’ll get those songs too.

As for the 2nd Spanish GP song, after about an hour of Googling, I found it: Go Go Go (obvious title there). It’s by Lethal Bizzle.

And yes, last weekend’s Hocus Pocus was the 2010 WC remix – made by Focus as well, I think.
