as all F1 drivers are of course great drivers!
Did you ever watch Yuji Ide race?! Haha
Pastor Maldonado. LOL jk
Alesi or Kubica.
All three were spectacularly good, and also hugely unlucky. In my opinion, Cevert would have won at least two WDC, and Alesi should have won at least one as well. Its hard to tell what Kubica would have done, but I think that given the car, he would be challenging for championships as well. So sad to see all these drivers title less :(
Jean Alesi and Francois Cevert.
It’s always difficult to compare drivers who competed full career and those who had a career cut short.
Of those single GP winners, I think the following had an early end to their careers: Kubica, Nannini, Nilsson, Pace, Cevert, Scarfiotti, Bandini, Musso.
Talking about full careers I rate Alesi the best.
Ha ha Ok not him! But before the era of rent-a-drive they were great!
A bit off topic but I always found Jean-Pierre Jabouille’s career fascinating. He only finished in the points three times but two of those were wins.
Jean-Pierre Jabouille? All I remember from that guy is that he was leading when the legendary battle between Arnoux and Villeneuve was going on.
Kubica, Alesi, Nannini, Cevert
+ honorable mention to Jochen Mass – great sportscar driver
Jean Alesi, no contest.
The amount of 2nd & 3rd places the guy scored was unbelievable, he should have had many more wins.
