Webber on Alonso at Spa- you just don’t see that, ever!
2nd: Vettel on Alonso at Monza – awesome pass, just wish he had to do it more often!
my last post is aimed at Pedal to the vettel … for some reason it was saying NicoWDC’11 was the poster ??? =S
Webber/Alonso, Spa Vettel/Alonso, Monza
But my personal favorite, not just cause I’m a Schumi fan, Schumi’s double overtake out of the hairpin in Canada.. Brilliant opportunistic move!
In no specific order * Not counting starts as passes ** Not including DRS passes *** Only counting completed passes, passing attempt succeeds and the driver gains a place 1) Hamilton on Button – China 2) Schumacher on Hamilton – Monaco 3) Hamilton on Alonso – Britain 4) Hamilton on Alonso – Germany 5) Webber on Alonso – Belgium 6) Vettel on Rosberg – Belgium 7) Vettel on Alonso – Italy 8) Webber on Alonso – Singapore 9) Webber on Sutil – Japan 10) Vettel on Hamilton – Korea
Webber on Alonso at Spa…it gets better and better everytime I see it.
I’ve always been a big fan of the pass where you can’t pass so Hamilton on Button in China and Webber on Alonso through Eau Rouge.
I wish I could say mark for his pass on Fernando at Spa purely because Mark has had an awful season but I can’t forget that he was just put on new Pirelli’s at the time. For me, it has to be Seb on Fernando at Monza.
I have forgotten another neat one:
Pity to see all the good passes on Alonso :P, but i think the best pass was from Massa in Korea. Also dont forget there are 3 races left and both championships are decided, so we will see lots of risk taking and ballsy moves.
Vettel around Rosberg at Blanchimont Vettel around Alonso at Curva Grande Vettel on Button in Barcelona (outlap, out braking into turn 5) Vettel on Button in Melbourne (around the outside of turn 4) Webber on Alonso in Singapore (the first overtake on lap 10 or some such, not the one into Turn 10 at the restart) Webber on Alonso at Eau Rouge entry Schumacher on Hamilton on Lap 1, Monaco hairpin
Hamilton on Alonso – German GP, outside line round the corner.
@keithcollantine – not strictly an overtake, but does the Lap 35 battle in Korea between Mark and Lewis count?
1. Hamilton on Alonso- Germany 2. Hamilton on Vettel- China 3. Hamilton on Webber- Germany 4. Webber on Vettel- Spa
@Ell I don’t recall Webber passing Vettel at any race this season, but I think Vettel passed Webber at Spa, off camera at La Source.
David actually it was either on the exit of La Source. Either way; on entry to La Source Webber was still ahead of Vettel, but entering Eau Rouge it was Vettel who was on Alonso’s tail.
