Best place to watch at Silverstone ? (4 posts)

    Hi,

    I’m going to the Renault World Series event at Silverstone in a couple of weeks.

    I’m just wondering if anyone can recommend where to locate myself for the day ?

    I don’t know if the event is using the new GP circuit or not…. I was thinking either at Becketts or at Copse… but I was wondering, if they’re using the new circuit and you’re at Becketts can you see the new village section as well ?

    Any tips would be appreciated :)

    We wen’t to the club Silverstone stand near Beckets.
    Superb view of most of the track, i would also try make it near the pits for the smell of the engines etc if you can.

    I went to the BTCC there a couple weeks ago, I recommend sitting at Luffield, it’s a prime overtaking spot and you get to see the cars for a long time (about 20 seconds I guess), there’s a big screen so you can see what else is going on too. I tried Copse too but you dont get to see a lot, by the time they get to Maggotts they are too far away to see.
