I have just watched all the McLaren tooned 50 episodes on YouTube. It’s a great little series and the profiles of their past champions in cartoon form are great. Why then have they missed the great Niki Lauda? OK, he won only one championship with the team (and by half a point at that) but I would argue that he is still part of the McLaren story….slightly baffling
No doubt they had their reasons. Maybe Lauda said no. Maybe there were more drivers than episodes and so someone had to miss out. Maybe the writers tried, but just couldn’t get the episode to work.
