Channel 4 Offered the same deal?

I have just read, in two papers that
a) BBC executives took the Sky reps with them to see Bernie.
b) Channel 4 offered the same money as Sky for the rights, but Bernie chose Sky.
So it would appear that another free-to-air broadcaster wanted F1 but were rebuffed by Bernie.
Why are all the other threads on the subject been closed, Has someone been “got at”?
No, it’s just that there are 2 posts on the main site on the subject already. This may prompt a 3rd post, but the general idea is that the forum is for discussing stuff not being discussed on the main site. The dividing line can be difficult to see but I understand why F1 Fanatic policy is for the forum to basically be for “overspill” subjects rather than duplication of discussions already in progress on the main area.
Where are these posts?
