A rodent wedding insider has informed me that the tables at the wedding reception yesterday were named after Silverstone corners…. great idea!

(although saying that the idea of a table named ‘Maggots’ isn’t particularly pleasant…)

for those wanting to know the first dance song it was Frank Sinatra “you make me feel so young” not The Chain.

Hi guys, thank you so much for all your kind words! We had a lovely time in Italy (where I occasionally checked in with the website but left running it to the highly capable Cari) and the wedding was just perfect.

The table names were “Copse”, “Becketts”, “Stowe”, “Club”, “Abbey”, “Luffield” and “Woodcote” – that was the only motor racing concession (apart from the timing of the wedding but that was practicality as much as anything else!)

We did consider “The Chain” for the first dance but the lyrics and tune really aren’t suitable for it! I’m a terrible dancer anyway so we wanted something simple for that.

yeah keith we believe you, it was for practical reasons … :P

You could have just played the roaring sounds of F1 engines for the first dance. May have gave your guests a bit of a surprise though :P just kidding of course!

Indeed the waiters/waitresses werent serving they were lapping the room.
The wedding was perfectly timed for after Spurs first game of the season too coincidently enough :D
