I had a crazy dream the other night about becoming a trillionaire with 85 trillian dollars to my name, and with tons of spare cash to spend.
So of course i decide to buy FORMULA ONE, lock stock and barrel. SO i thought i would get the opinions of you guys here.
I get Nigel Mansell to run it for me, (my dream, my choice).
I changed everything to more of a charity style thing i guess. Fisrstly i would set up a trust fund style account for the teams to use to run their teams, say $300m per team, and they are not allowed to use any other monies to run the teams than that. Any sponsor money would be for salaries and Driver payments.
All the circuit owners/promoters would Not have to pay to run a race in F1. In fact FOM would pay them. So they could run at a profit and keep ticket prices low.
Teams would not have to pay to participate in F1 either.
I also would not be so strict with things like videos of F1 races etc…
I would not charge tv companies to broadcast F1, so they could put it on for more people to have the chance to watch F1.
So what do you guys think. Does it sound crap? Anything you would add? Crazy dream right?
