Do you know of any sites similar to this?

I am interested in alternative ways for comparing the drivers. Obviously the F1 cahmpionship points system is the important one but I always wonder who’s being hampered by their car? or who’s making the most mistakes? etc

In my opinion there are a number of areas that would be interesting to track:

Qualifying Position
Race Postition
Difference between the two
Overtakes
Overtaken
Retire through error
Retire through mechanical failure
Retire through another drivers error

Etc

Maybe a good future feature for f1fanatic?

What do you guys think?

There’s the Castrol Rankings which are just a big joke.

It’s hard to compare drivers and everyone has drivers they like and don’t like, which makes it even more difficult to compare them.

Also Button showed that despite being average at Honda having a competitive car allowed him to be a World Champion. Fisichella was the opposite, amazing in poor cars but rubbish when he had a decent one.

I just had a quick look at the castrol rankings, and they are a bit pants.
