While rfactor and mods like FSONE or awesome, they’re mostly not to say solely catered towards MP. I myself like to have a game that has a nice SP aspect to it aswell. The rfactor AI is pretty OK around a track, but for races they’re far too dumb. They don’t overtake, they just follow the ideal line and ram everything that isn’t an AI car off the road. F1 Challenge was a lot better in terms of AI.
I kind of have high hopes for this game. I really hope they’ve managed to make it good for SP aswell as MP. I am however afraid that bringing a MP game that will get the real simracing junkies to switch from say rfactor will not work. There’s a dev-diary that mentions that they want to make a sim, with the possibility of more arcady driving. If they can succeed at that, I’d say their mission is accomplished.
