F1 Fanatic

An AI system where the driver comes before the car. In practically every gameplay video I’ve seen, Vitaly Petrov is waaay out of sequence (he’s the only onw who can be) and often very competitive. While I wouldn’t mind this scenario at all, it is kind of obvious that AI is based on car performance more than driver ability.

I’d love a game where you can play through every f1 season, complete with car and driver changes. Also, to be able to play through junior categories to determine what sort of f1 team you can join. Finally, to be able to pick the age you start at and what year you start in, and to be able to continue the career as long as you want, or at least until no team wants you because you’re so old.

There are some very far out wishes on here.
Safety Car I can’t see happenening any time soon.

I’d like to see older/testing tracks.
Also some classic cars, not like the 50′s, but some from, lets say the 80′s or 90′s.

Splitscreen 2 player. Dammit i will continue to wait for another year.

No penalties from running wide.
No penalties for blocking when you’ve spun on track.
Race engineer that tells you useful things like what tyres other cars are on etc.

I think most importantly for me would be the inclusion of replays for online races (Magnificent Geoffrey will know why this would be handy…) and the ability to save them. I would really like it if they used the proper camera angles from the season where you can actually see what is going on and the ability to cycle between trackside cameras to get better angles. If not then I would love there to be a camera that you control (like the replays in Halo) and you can position it wherever you want. I also think it is terrible how you cant choose to view a replay of someone other than yourself! It is sometimes interesting to see what happened to your opposition too!

First off I must say what an incredible game this is. I flung the RB6 around Istanbul Park last night for 40-odd laps and while I was terrible at first (and by no means fanastic now!), it is very rewarding to beat your ghost on the time trials. Oh and Turn 8 makes me nervous!

I haven’t explored much of the game yet but I hear alot of complaints for the pit lane train you end up being at the back of.

Maybe something at the pit stops..like the old QTE on Shenmue…or just all out button bashing to get stuff done!

Oh and brake lights(!). as I’m always running into the back of people on Live..which doesn’t go down well ;)

Pit Stops and Kinect?

How much of an idiot would you look carrying an invisible tyre or invisible wheel-nut gun? :D :D

That said..how much of an idiot would you look with an invisible steering wheel.. :/

Different engineer voices would be good to. The bloke drives me mad.
