Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve all won one championship with Williams, but no one ever one more than one championship with them.
@kevincucamest That is correct, quite an unusual record!
Vettel holds the record of the most laps led at the Korean I. Circuit. Which circuits have a higher percentage of laps led by one single driver?
Buddh IC (100%-Vettel)
Donington Park (?-Senna)
Not to sure, I searched only circuits who were for 1-2 years on the calendar.
I think you could add Schumacher at Aida to that list as well.
I figured this out a few weeks ago:
Ain-Diab (Moss 100%), Monsanto (Moss 100%), Pescara (Moss 94%), Riverside (Moss 95%), Prince George (Clark 92%) and of course Buddh (Vettel 100%).
@andae23 Next time a question like this comes up I’m going to look at your post-race comments for the answers! :)
What is special about these Grands Prix:
- 1954 British GP
- 1967 German GP
- 1989 Mexico GP
- 2006 Bahrain GP
@andae23 Based on the inclusion of the 2006 Bahrain GP, I’m going to guess that in each one the fastest lap was set by a driver in their first GP.
Never mind, seems like I was wrong.
Was Bernie Ecclestone present in all of them? ;-)
Hint: in all four GPs, a driver matched a record.
Α driver raised 19 places?
