The connection between the drivers is not really that much of an achievement (you are right about a race win), but it is more the machinery with which they did it – I like vague hints

@mathers Possibly, but it’s not what I’m looking for. Remember: these five drivers are the ONLY ones to have done it.

@brazil2007 Nope, there were a lot more drivers who achieved that. I’ll add the GPs at which they achieved it. What did their cars have in common at those GPs?

When was the first time that a 1.5 litre, V6 engine was used in Formula 1?

@anto Sort of correct: it was a modified 246 (2.4 V6) with a smaller engine displacement of 1.5 litres (1.5 V6), so technically it’s a 156. I would say the car Phil Hill drove at the 1958 German GP was closer to a 246 then what I think is a real 156 (Ferrari sharknose, 1961 onwards).
