1999 Spanish GP?????
@andae23 is correct.
I thought I had actually made a mistake somewhere, as I couldn’t believe it was that long ago.
When was the last time all three men on a Formula 1 podium were future world champions? (so they weren’t world champions at the time, but all three would later become WC)
@toro-stevo arrg I thought about asking it if I answered a question corrrectly :)
@andae23 Belgium 2005, with Alonso (still not champion), Raikkonen and Button?
@sigman1998 Yup. I actually came up with the 1994 European GP (Hakkinen, Schumacher and Hill), but your answer is correct!
Which 7 drivers had shared a fastest lap during a GP, what happened to the points they got because of that lap?
It was a British GP somewhere in the 1950s. Each driver was awarded 1/7 of a point.
Just a guess: Fangio, Moss, Ascari, Froilan, Hawthorn… uhm, no idea :P
@andae23 1954, plus Marimon and Behra. You are up.
Ah, ok
The first race of 2013 will probably see six rookies (Bottas, vd Garde, Guttierez, Chilton and probably Razia and Bianchi). When was the last time at least six drivers made their debut? Hint: it has been quite a long time ago
In 2005, 6 drivers made their debuts, but only 4 started the season. A season started with 6 rookies in (I will tell you)
1991
@sigman1998 Sorry for the late reply. In 1991 7 drivers made their debut (including Hakkinen and Schumacher), but not in the same GP.
Hint: it’s somewhere in the 1960s
Right, the answer was the 1962 South African GP, where 6 rookies (all South-African) made their debut.
New question, just to keep the ball rolling: who won the 2012 F1 world championship?
@andae23 I think it was Sebastian Vettel, but I’m not sure ;)
@ryanwilliams Had to look it up myself too, but you are correct (if Wikipedia isn’t lying that is)
