Thought I would revive this one with a fresh question:
Who was the last non-World Champion that started an F1 Grand Prix with start number 1? And why?
I think it was Watson when he replaced Lauda in 1985 (?, I also can’t remember race :/ ).
@sigman1998 Correct! He replaced Niki Lauda at McLaren for the 1985 European GP at Brands Hatch, because Lauda had suffered a wrist injury at Spa. Your turn!
That wasn’t the first time McLaren replaced one of its drivers in F1. When was the previous and who did he replace? Extra if you can tell his result :)
Correct @lotus22! :)
Alright, im gonna switch it up a bit:
What F1 car did Richard Hammond drive on Top Gear Season 10?
and Who drove this car in F1?
I remember he drove an R26 (or R25), but I don’t remember when he did so. The car was driven by Alonso and Fisichella. If it is correct (I don’t think so) someone else can take my turn :)
Yup, R25 :)
Sorry for being late!
For how many seasons did Sato drive for Honda?
None, he drove one season with Jordan-Honda, three with BAR-Honda and three with Super Aguri-Honda so seven with Honda engines but none with the Honda works team.
@Retardedf1sh correct :)
Also, after he left F1, he has been racing for the past 4 years with Honda engines!
Ok, next one
