I decided to build my track at Baghdad after some ‘research’…

    track baghdad

It’s just a bit over 7 km, runs clockwise. It’s really flowing, a very high speed should be required to get a good lap time. In the final part of the lap, the track goes under the Al-Sarafiya Bridge. The lap starts on the middle of Imam Musa.

@roblo97 I hope you don’t mind me using the same area. I did this one some time ago but then after seeing PM’s track I decided not to post mine. But after a little bit of thinking I decided I liked it and will post mine as well.

Its a bit like Rob Lomas’ track, but I feel its a different approach to the facility. If you feel that it is to similar just let me know.

    The track: http://gmap-pedometer.com?r=5796270

    Any winners @browny ? :)

Well done guys, you’ve all done expectionally well designing street circuits in some of the worlds most difficult circuits, maybe one day these countries will sort themselves out and whilst Bernie in control, well I’ll quote Murray Walker “anything happens in Formula 1, and it usually does”. Tracks which deserve special mention are those by @James Brickles, @Nick but the winner for this round is @Prisoner Monkeys . Congratulations PM your circuit in Tehran looks exceptionally difficult and fun to drive whilst still provided overtaking chances. Reminds me of New Dehli which is one of my favourite tracks to drive on F1 2011. So its your turn PM

    Awesome!

Okay, I have a great idea in store (if you post at F1 Rejects, you might have seen this one before) …

    Revenge of the NIMBYs!

The unthinkable has happened: by order of the courts, Spa-Francorchamps has been shut down. Fed up with the noise, residents have made their complaints public, and the courts have listed. No racing car will ever drive on Spa-Francorchamps again.

But there is hope. Because of the precise wording of the judgement, there is a tiny little loophole that you have been able to wriggle through. The circuit in its current form cannot be used, but there is nothing to prevent racing from taking place on the old circuit. And as a result of a rather convenient plot device, residents would be as powerless to stop racing from taking place on a new circuit as you are to return motorsport to the current circuit.

    Here is the design brief:

    1) Your circuit must be between 4.5km and 6.5km.
    2) Your circuit must include something from along this route. You may use as much or as little of it as you like.
    3) You may build any extra roads that you like, but you must not demolish any existing buildings to accomodate them.
    4) You may not use any of the current Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
    5) If you have already designed a circuit for this at F1 Rejects, you cannot submit any design that you posted there.

You have three days to post your ideas (or two if entries dry up). You may post one entry, and one revision if you wish. This second entry will be considered your final entry.

Here’s mine, I’ve used all existing roads. 5.69km, I think the circuit can match it with the more well known Spa with some stunningly fast corners.

The track I really wanted to do was 6.8km, so I decided to cut my losses and do http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5797543 instead

I used the run up to where Stavelot currently is. Quite a lot of road constructing for this
