Made a few changes to my previous design in order to liven it up a bit:

And also to make the second bridge a bit more practical.

    Montego Bay, Jamaica:

I would urge @Kingshark to observe the track a little closer to the ground, as the 3km mark is obscuring a corner and the two turns at the bottom of the map don’t actually touch. It’s a fast street circuit near the ocean (kind of like Monaco) with a lot of high speed sweeps, a handful of slow corners and plenty of challenges for the drivers.

Old Hope Kingston Circuit, Kingston, Jamaica

Short (4.1 km or 2.6 miles) and relatively fast with two hairpins and a few slower corners.

There is also a Bob Marley museum about 1 km from the circuit so the location is ideal.

It depends when entries dry up.

Here’s mine on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica. A bit long and some of the roads are far too wee for F1, but we had no “realism” restraints in this round so I went for it.

    Sorry for falling asleep (literally).

I have gone through all the circuits, and I have to say, there are some really good designs.

Runner-up is Prisoner Monkeys. His circuit has a variety of different corners, and all in all adds up to be quite handy. The track is has a very flowing nature, and fits together quite nicely.

And the winner is @matt90 !!!
An absolutely fantastic circuit. It’s long, it has character and its own personality. There are some very fast, challenging corners, and some very good overtaking spots. Also, the circuit has a very natural flow.

    Cheers Kingshark.

For this challenge, I want to see redesigns of any UK circuit which has never hosted a World Championship GP. They need to use existing sections of their current (or most recent) layout, and need to be suitable for modern F1. The length must be between 5 and 8 km. No residential buildings may be knocked down, although those belonging to the circuit can be. Public roads which aren’t major can be built over if necessary. Room should be allowed for run-off. Points may be lost if particularly classic sections are destroyed or missed out.

I’m not sure what parts of Croft are considered to be classics, but I tried to recapture the spirit of what I destroyed in the parts that I created:

Here’s a list of permanent motor racing tracks in the UK, for anyone who needs it (such as myself):

For my entry in this round, I revised Cadwell Park Circuit, Lincolnshire.
