My take on Knockhill. I probably made a mistake by starting with a track which was too short, there is a lot in this that I would ideally not have included if there wasn’t a 5km minimum length.

Lydden Hill.

I have tried to look at the terrain and make a lot of the corners uphill or downhill, to make it more like the original track. The roads are non-essential and the 3km and 5km bits can link together to form a national track, as can the 2.7km and 5.2km. I would probably relocate the pits to the longer straight between 1km and 2km

I’ve tried to make an infield that would provide some high speed sections and overtaking possibilities for F1, while not slowing the entire track down.

I’m just going to bump this to see if we get any more results before this evening.

Next circuit will be anywhere in Monaco, but you cannot use any of the Monaco Circuit layout itself.

Kingshark, did you look at the streets of Monaco before setting this one up? Because I really hope you’re not after practicality.

What I have made is not so much a track.. It’s an art. Monaco: now with twice the tunnels and five times as many hairpins. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5818879

On a slightly more serious note: I think allowing segments of the current track to be used would help a lot in making a sensible design. Perhaps no more than 50% or even 1 km, but this is pretty hard.

Also, I hate to be ‘that guy’, but @Brickles his design passes into France.
