Thanks! I really liked the way it came out, it took me a few re-designs, but it I’m glad you liked it.
For the next challenge, I’m going with a not-so-current theme. We’ve heard about the Nürburgring’s financial difficulties and that Hockenheim might not have been prepared to host the German GP annualy again. Your challenge is this: find a track in Germany and (re)design it, so it can take the Nürburgring’s place on the 2015 calendar. The rules are simple;
- It can’t be the Hockenheimring or any configuration of the Nürburgring.
- It can be either a redesign of a track, or a completely new (street)circuit.
- The track has to be between 4.5 and 7.5 kilometers long.
- Trackside buildings and minor public roads may be demolished, houses and major roads may not be demolished.
For convenience, here’s a list of tracks in Germany: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Motorsport_venues_in_Germany Again, you are also allowed to design a completely new track, but at your own peril. A good new track will be higher rated than a bad redesign, just as a good redesign will be rated better than a bad new track.
