Berlin Street Circuit, 4.8 km, clockwise (‘Strassenbahn’ for those who get the joke)

This was a pretty hard one for me, not in the last place because the pedometer website was acting out for me lately.

It was a close pick between Andea23, Prisoner Monkeys, Sam3110 and James Brickels, who all had awesome designs, a good flow and both fast and tricky sections. I really liked how Sam3110 and James Brickles used their respective tracks and the way Andea23 made a very interesting street circuit, despite the track map throwing me off at first. The win however goes to @prisoner_monkeys. His Neuer Solituderennen looks plenty fast, with a fair share of overtaking spots. Congrats!

    Yay, another win!

Okay, your next task is to go Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.

Your circuit should be between five and seven kilometres long.

No straight should be more than one kilometre long.

Your circuit should have no more than eighteen corners.

At least part of your circuit should be on the Avienda Libertador (http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5845435)

You will also need to plan for (and show) pit lane.

Can we name the track after the late commander president Hugo Chavez?

    I really don’t care.

Though I did think that naming your Bucharest circuit after Ceausescu was distasteful.

    5.5 km, 17 corners, clockwise.

That was a difficult one: a lot of right-angled corners. A lot of road needs to be rebuild for the race course, but no building will have to be demolished. Had to make some compromises: the corner at Venezuela plaza had to be bent a little, as to not risk cars ending up at in the fountain. Also that final chicane is a real pity: had to do it to meet the ‘straight no longer than 1 km’ requirement.

The corner limit is making this one tricky because the roads around Avienda Libertador are quite twisty and 5kms is a fai old distance. I fear I haven’t the skill requred for this round and may sit it out.

My first draft, I think it abides by the rules, run’s anticlockwise, I may change the second half though. 17 corners I think.

@formula-1 You do realize that your track is in the wrong country, right? ;)

I counted 18 corners in all

I did give you a link showing you where the appropriate road was.

Also, some of you need to remember to include pit lane in your designs.

Tried making it fast, while still adding a lot of passing opportunities. It would be tight, and the pitlane would require a lot of changes to the highway, but I still think this is pretty good.
