Oh, my! Just a few weeks ago I figured I’d never win any of these and now the wins are slowly coming in! Thanks guys!
Now, for this challenge I went into the history books (wiki, actually). The Roy Hesketh Circuit in South Africa used to be a large part of motorsport in South Africa, but was partially demolished in the 80s. Your task is to bring F1 to Pietermaritzburg. Here is the current track: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5851334 As you can see it is much too short. That why there’s some rules.
- The circuit has to be between 4.5 and 6 kilometers long, but;
- No buildings or roads may be demolished.
- You may also opt to design a new track in the direct (less than 1 kilometer from a public road) vicinity of Pietermaritzburg. (The rules about length and demolishing still apply.)
- If you chose to redesign the Roy Hesketh circuit, you must use as much of the current track as possible.
The entries close Saturday at 15:00 GMT, 16:00 CET.
