    If anyone is planning on redesigning, or for anyone who hasnt made a circuit yet, I will count a kink as long as it is about as tight as the first blanchimont corner at Spa Francorchamps or tighter

    Here is the corner just incase you’re unclear

    Actually, since nobody has made an entry over the last 30 Hours, I’m going to announce the Top 3 a Little Bit Early.

    3rd Place: @Polishboy808 – A fantastic looking circuit that I would love to drive on. I would’ve given you 1st, but your entry was about 100m too long

    2nd Place: @sam3110 – Another good looking circuit with a heck of a good run down towards the first corner, similar to Brazil.

    1st Place (Drum Roll): @npf1 – A fantastic looking circuit from afar. I really liked you corner combinations, especially the final part of the lap. Good Job Mate.

    Oh, my! Just a few weeks ago I figured I’d never win any of these and now the wins are slowly coming in! Thanks guys!

    Now, for this challenge I went into the history books (wiki, actually). The Roy Hesketh Circuit in South Africa used to be a large part of motorsport in South Africa, but was partially demolished in the 80s. Your task is to bring F1 to Pietermaritzburg. Here is the current track: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5851334 As you can see it is much too short. That why there’s some rules.

    - The circuit has to be between 4.5 and 6 kilometers long, but;
    - No buildings or roads may be demolished.
    - You may also opt to design a new track in the direct (less than 1 kilometer from a public road) vicinity of Pietermaritzburg. (The rules about length and demolishing still apply.)
    - If you chose to redesign the Roy Hesketh circuit, you must use as much of the current track as possible.

    The entries close Saturday at 15:00 GMT, 16:00 CET.

    Due to the low amount of entries so far and a personal change of plans for tomorrow, I’m going to delay the deadline until further notice, but expect it before Monday.

    I’ve got the Pen’n'Paper out, trying to find a decent new section for the circuit

    And well… Here’s what I’ve come up with: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5852444

    Although this circuit crosses over a few roads, it does not destroy them. I imagine that the could would instead have bridges built over them.
