Quite a long street circuit in Sydney. Yes, that’s actually a bridge

I decided to design my track at Kings Park, in Perth.

    track Perth

I had to have a serious start-finish straight and that forced me into having that first and last corner that I don’t really like. The rest is pretty much to my liking, it was the most flowing thing I could find in Perth. The circuit has close to 7 km and anti-clockwise.

Bit of a challenging one, in the end I went for a place in Tasmania just east of Hobart called Rosny. It’s quite a short circuit, 4.12km, about the length of the Indianapolis road circuit. Fast in places, with a great view of the river Derwent. The map makes the slow corners tighter than the satellite shows.

I found a few which I liked. I’ll post them all now I’ve created them, so my procrastination wasn’t completely wasted.

This is my actual one, run anti-clockwise from the base dot. I actually preferred my second one, but the straights were all a bit too long to be realistic.

I’m not sure if shutting down an airport qualifies as being realistic, but if it does, then here is my submission:

Wow this was incredibly difficult to judge, all the circuits were great and there were more than a few that were outstanding. The very top circuits were desgined by sbewers, PM, matt90 & kingshark, all are deserving winners but I think @sbewers wins on his debut. Anyone who has been to Bondi would agree with me that this would be one hell of a circuit, it would have the glamour of Monte Carlo, the weather of Melbourne, the crowd of Montreal, elevation of Spa and the corners of Silverstone. So congratulations sbewers its your turn to choose where to next design the tracks

Wow, I didn’t expect to win straight off. Thanks @browny.

So there’s been a lot of talk over the years of hosting a street race in London. But for the next location, you can use anywhere in Great Britain. You may want to look at the cities; London, Birmingham, Manchester, etc. but there’s also the option of the Scottish highlands, the British seaside towns or maybe somebody will even design a Welsh GP? Anywhere in GB goes. Tracks should be between 3-8km. Have fun!
