    @tmekt All that’s been made clear is that there was some sort of a problem with your car’s engine.

    6 laps from the end a gearbox problem emerges. Hope for a stronger result next race. Also looking at the drivers championship I am 2 places lower than my race finish.

    Read the rules on the first page. He also posted the system he uses somewhere in this thread.

    @RoboCAT

    Every driver’s ratings for wet, dry, and reliability is combined with a hidden team ratings for each of the three categories. This is added to a random number from 1-20. If it is one of the driver’s favorite tracks, one point is added. This process is repeated three times in Practice, where the highest number of points of the three times is the driver’s ‘fastest lap’. After Practice, points are reset so that the fastest driver in Practice has 25 points, the second fastest has 24, and so on. Qualifying works the same way as Practice, except the driver’s ‘fastest lap’ is added to the number of points after Practice. After Qualifying, points are reset so that the driver on Pole has 100 points, the second fastest qualifier has 96 points, and so on. In the Race, the basic process is repeated four times, and the race result is based on the sum total of the Qualifying reset points and the four Race segments combined.

    As for reliability: A random number is generated from 1-20. If it is lower than the driver-team combined reliability rating, the driver continues racing. If it the same as the driver-team reliability rating, the driver continues in the dry and in the wet the number is generated again. If it is higher than the driver-team combined reliability rating, the number is generated again. When the number is generated again, if it is lower than the driver-team combined reliability rating, the driver continues racing. If it the same as the driver-team reliability rating, the driver continues in the dry and in the wet the driver retires from the race. If it is higher than the driver-team combined reliability rating, the driver retires from the race.

    What are your season objectives based on the results of race 1? Personally, I’m hoping for at least a pole and a win along with a handful of podiums. Ideally I’d like to beat my teammate but that target seems considerably difficult considering @andae23 outpaced me the whole weekend. Still, I think it’s feasible that my points tally at the end of the year will surpass Grosjean’s 2012 points total(given I’m a Lotus driver).

    Oh, and my compliments to @joey-zyla! I’m looking forward to the remainder of the season.

    I can’t believe I retired on the first lap due no fault of my own. :(

    Oh BTW, is there any race this season where HRT will actually be competitive? :/

    No fault of your own? You pushed me off the track mate. All the time you have to leave a space! Okay?

    Running near the back. Yeah, pretty much used to that in racing games!
