Qualified eleventh and came eleventh, can’t argue with that. Still happy to beat my team mate, and can’t wait for the next race!
Out of interest, @Joey-Zyla, without trying to make the game too complicated, have you thought about adding a technical side? For instance, in addition to Dry Speed, Wet Speed and Reliability, we also have Technical which determines how well we can set the cars up, which in turn sees improvements from practice to the race etc. In addition, it could also mean that perhaps as the season progresses, a good technical driver can make their car better. So if you say that Marussia and HRT are equal, then perhaps a good technical driver can improve the Marussia to mean that it is then capable of being more competitive with Caterham in terms of raw speed, or perhaps reliability, depending on the driver’s needs.
OR, if you like the technical idea for the setup alone, but still want team improvement to play a part, then perhaps drivers can be given points to distribute towards their car throughout the season. For example, the McLaren keeps breaking down in the races (No surprise there), then the drivers can add points towards the reliability aspect of their car. Perhaps you need a certain amount of points into that field to improve that part of your car (Like 0/10, you need to reach the 10 to increase it by +1). Just a couple of thoughts. It might make the game more complicated, but nothing wrong with a bit of creativity ^_^
