Updated Constructors’ Championship Standings

Red Bull’s second consecutive 1-2 finish sees them 47 points ahead of second-place Ferrari. A good race for Mercedes allows them to move ahead of McLaren and in to third. Lotus’s decent race closes things up in the battle for third, with only seven points separating third from fifth. Matthijs’ eighth-place finish results in Williams polevaulting over Caterham and Toro Rosso and up into eighth. With Ferrari’s poor race, the only teams to have scored points in every race are Red Bull, McLaren, and Force India.

After yet another top-two finish, Cornflakes now has a 26-point lead over his teammate, Nicholas Sunderland. After failing to score points, Juan Pablo Heidfeld has dropped to third. Paul G’s podium finish puts him in fourth, with Gnasher and BG0 both just two points behind. Lotus teammates Andae23 and Goose are seventh and eighth, respectively, and separated by just two points. Of the 24 drivers, only seven are yet to score a point. Both Red Bull drivers and BG0 have scored points in every race.

Nicholas Sunderland becomes the season’s first repeat winner and Paul G becomes the seventh driver on the podium.

Are you saying that with my HRT, I will have one enormous chance for victory. I’ll take provisional pole position at Monaco, but then be given a five place grid penalty before colliding with a Frenchman in a Lotus?

Monaco is one of my favorite circuits, and the WO3 has been as much of a failure as the HRT this season, so I don’t see why not. :)

Also, I’ll be fighting for pole position in a clearly inferior car in wet-weather conditions like Great Britain and Germany, even if my rainmaster skills are only at 2. Plus I’ll take a podium in Europe!

And you’ll only take a podium in Europe after a race of attrition. You’ll also get replaced by BGO at the end of the season, and you’ll never return :P
