    Am I getting the wrong end of the stick, because from what I can make out, it’s saying that it’s the BBC filming in HD. Surely that’s not the actual racing then, because all of the footage comes from FOM, which is SD.

    RAI, the public-owned Italian TV, has broadcasted in its HD channel since Bahrain. Image quality seems to be better than the SD, but the effect is mainly visible on the screen graphics.
