F1 Fanatic

Not much of a poem and not terribly original but I tweeted this to @FakeMassa on twitter on Valentines Day

Ferrari’s are Red
Red Bulls are blue
Don’t be forgetting
Fernando is faster than you

Love the Massa one Dan! Mag you never fail to impress me with your words.

There was a big beard called Nick,
he was known for being quite quick,
but he never had the best car,
so his career hasn’t gone far
Let’s hope his Renault can do the trick!

Another bad Ferrari one from me:

At the Hockheinem start,
it was Alonso Seb caught,
while Massa flew off into the lead.
But Felipe was slow
so Alonso had a go
but when it didn’t work Alonso got peed.
There was tension over at the Ferrari pits,
so Rob called Felipe while the crowd yelled “you gits”
Poor Felipe did the deed,
Alonso was through to the lead
but was there really any need?

They are being so petty,
But look very pretty.

Fighting Over A Name,
Since they both have the same,

In court it could get quite messy!

It was the season 2011,
Some would say a match made in heaven.
For all who were quick,
Was anyone but Nick.
Who could not even make the top seven.

I wrote something before the 2008 German GP about the top 4 at that point:

lewis in his silver arrow
taking corners, wide and narrow
in his second year of action
giving brits their satisfaction

massa may have had a spin
all the same, he yearns to win
and with schumi in the pits
we’d expect a mighty blitz

kimi’s under so much stress
defend the title, woo the press
will this break the iceman, ever?
some say yes, the rest say never

then there is the quiet pole
racing with his heart and soul
collecting points consistently
can he do it? we will see…

Prost V Senna Mk 2
Alonso and our own Lew,
One races in red,
The other Woking bred,
But they’re both getting beat by a Bull!

The three new teams have far to go,
Since their pace is still too slow,
Virgin, Lotus and HRT,
On a combine budget of 50p,
Doing their bit to impove the show!
