I find both F1 Racing and Autosport a bit shallow for my liking, but I find I need an archival record of F1 and certain sportscar racing, so a subscription to F1 Racing plus 8-10 issues of Autosport per year sees me through. It just feels like it’s more difficult to find quality paid-for information about motor racing, and that the best stuff these days is often free…

I subscribe to both, in digital formats. Also to Autosport Plus, the paid-for features section of the Autosport website.

I have to say I do prefer Autosport, it’s much more comprehensive in my view and I like the fact that it covers other series (Indy, endurance racing etc).

That said, it is incredibly hard to get hold of here in the UAE. I end up having to scour every bookshop in the city to find a copy and they are usually at least 2 weeks out of date when I do find one. The fact that I still buy it regardless of those two (very) annoying factors should prove that I prefer it to F1 Racing, which I tend to only buy if (a) I can’t get hold of Autosport and (b) if it has special features which I want to read.

@GeeMac if not try their digital subscription – that way you can just download a PDF.

Very true. I actually just got a subscription for the print edition, which should hopefully be delivered soon!
